Alberta Deal Generator is a non-profit program that depends on sponsorships and participant fees to meet its operational requirements.

The registration and the initial screening process is at no cost. Should the company pass the screening process, there is a $1500 fee to proceed to the investor forum.

 

How long will it take?
For entrepreneurs, the length of time spent working through the program will vary for each case.  Every business plan has its own strengths and weaknesses, and some enterprises are further along than others.  Chances are, however, that the more committed you are to your project, the quicker it will move through the program.  The minimum time required to go through the ADG screening process and forum is about one month.

 

Am I guaranteed a deal at the end of this?
Simply stated: no.  None of the Alberta Deal Generator participants are guaranteed any deals through this process.  We are creating the marketplace for investors and entrepreneurs to interact. Success in closing deals depends on them.

That said, ADG strives to simplify and enhance the early-stage enterprise process to the point that there are value-added benefits for investors, entrepreneurs and service providers, even if no deal is finally reached.
