Who qualifies as ADG investor
An investor must meet the Accredited Investor requirements of the Alberta Securities Commission to become a member of the Alberta Deal Generator Investor Network.
Accredited Investor - Includes financial institutions, pension and investment funds, corporations with $5 million in net assets and certain high net value individuals. An individual will be considered an accredited investor if he or she, together with his or her spouse has:
- Financial assets (cash and securities) exceeding $1 million, or
- Pre-tax net income of at least $300,000 (or $200,000 without a spouse) in each of the last two years and a reasonable expectation of exceeding that amount in the current year.

Investor membership is restricted to accredited investors. A summary of the definition of accredited investor follows (see section 1.1 of Multilateral Instrument 45-103 Capital Raising Exemptions for a complete definition):

Deal Generator Rules of Engagement
The following items represent Deal Generator's Rules of Engagement for Investors:
- Confidentiality of Investor identity and information is a key principle of Deal Generator.
- Deal Generator will create a "level playing field" for Investors. Investors who have identified an interest in the specific sector into which a Deal fits, will be notified of the Deal simultaneously and without distinction.
- Deal Generator provides only an Entrepreneur preparation and investment matching process and makes no investment recommendations. Entrepreneurs and Investors are responsible for completing their own due diligence and reaching their own investment conclusions.
- Deal Generator reserves the right to cancel the participation of an Investor at any time.
